Its been a busy summer season of training here at North American.
Lots of Grads and lots of people out working in their new profession.
Holden Putman is one of our latest Grads. A previous Food Service Delivery helper, he finally enrolled in our ACZ course and upon graduation has been working steady ever since.
Scott (pictured with Trainer Extrodinaire, Larry Hollister) is yet another Grad who came to us with a DZ and a day after his graduation from North American was out helping the guys from Sysco fill in for sick driver.
Paul and his wife also attended school here at North American and are off to our good friends in Barrie, Trio Transport as a super single team running Calgary and back.
Point is that as a new AZ grad, you need to get into a truck right away and get practising and no one has a more compreshensive placement program than North American!
Fall is really a great time to train and that is simply due to the upcoming Chrismas Season.
I know, summer has just ended and we are already talking about Christmas, its crazy but filling in for Christmas vacation coverage is a great way to showcase your skills and get yourself an opportunity at a great full time position in your new career!
One of our October Courses is the best time to get started with your training as graduation 6 weeks later puts you right into the thick of the Christmas ramp up with lots of loads moving and lots of opportunities for you to go to work.
Its also the time of year when road maintenance companies and local Municipalities start looking for snow plow operators for the winter season.
Its a great time of year to get your AZ licence and get your foot in the door!
Come on in and see us at our new training facility at 598 Cataraqui Woods Drive (fourth drive way in from Gardiners road when heading East on Cat Woods).
Coffee is always on!
